GraphNautics Nexus is a digital asset management platform designed to do more than store files. It provides a structured foundation for organizing, describing, connecting, and reusing digital assets across an interconnected knowledge environment.
Traditional file management tends to organize information around folders. Nexus takes a different approach: assets become identifiable, searchable objects with metadata, relationships, controlled vocabularies, and defined types. Files are still important, but they are only one part of the asset.

Nexus is designed to accommodate structured knowledge assets as well as conventional media. Prompts, competencies, questions, instructional content, metadata definitions, and other structured information can be represented as assets using defined schemas.
Asset types provide the framework for describing what information a particular kind of asset should contain. Schema validation helps ensure that structured assets remain consistent and usable as the system grows.
This creates a common foundation for both creative assets and knowledge assets.
Governance Without Losing Flexibility
A growing asset library can quickly become difficult to manage without consistent terminology and structure.
Nexus incorporates controlled vocabularies, asset types, schema versions, and metadata governance to provide consistency while allowing the system to evolve.
